Alice Albinia

Alice Albinia (f. 1976) har studert engelsk litteratur ved Cambridge og sør-asiatisk historie ved School of Oriental and African Studies. Hun har arbeidet som journalist og redaktør i Delhi i to år. Hennes forrige bok, reiseskildringen "Empires of the Indus", vant Somerset Maugham Award, Authors' Club Dolman Travel Award og Jerwood/Royal Society of Literature Prize. "Leelas bok" var på kortlisten til Authors' Club Best First Novel Award.
